The Google Pixel 8 Pro is one of the most anticipated smartphones of 2023. It is expected to be launched in October, with a starting price of around $9991. Here are some of the rumored features and specifications of the Pixel 8 Pro:

Display: The Pixel 8 Pro will have a 6.67-inch OLED display with QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate2. It will also support adaptive refresh rate, which can go as low as 5Hz to save battery life1. The display will have curved edges and a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera2.

Camera: The Pixel 8 Pro will have a new 50MP main camera with a Samsung ISOCELL GN2 sensor, which is larger and has bigger pixels than the previous generation. It will also have a 12MP ultra-wide camera, an 8MP telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom, and a laser autofocus sensor2. The front camera will be a 12MP shooter2. The Pixel 8 Pro will also have a revamped Google Camera app, with a redesigned interface and new features like Magic Eraser, Face Unblur, and Motion Mode3.

Processor: The Pixel 8 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which is one of the most powerful processors available for Android phones. It will also have 12GB of RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage2.

Battery: The Pixel 8 Pro will have a 5,000mAh battery, which is larger than the Pixel 7 Pro’s 4,500mAh battery2. It will also support wireless charging and reverse wireless charging2. However, it is not clear if the Pixel 8 Pro will have faster charging speeds than the Pixel 7 Pro’s 18W wired charging and 12W wireless charging2.

Other features: The Pixel 8 Pro will run on Android 13 out of the box, with guaranteed software updates for at least three years2. It will also have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and NFC2. One of the most controversial rumors about the Pixel 8 Pro is that it may ditch the physical SIM card slot in some regions and rely only on eSIMs13. This could make it harder for some users to switch carriers or use dual SIM
